Create.Able™ is a hands-on program that helps young adults with disabilities develop practical skills and confidence to pursue meaningful work opportunities.

Based in Rouse Hill in Sydney’s north-west, our programs support young adults aged 15–35 with disability and neurodivergence (low-support needs) build skills and pathways towards employment.

Through real-world learning and guided support, participants build independence, gain valuable experience, and explore employment pathways suited to their strengths and interests.

We believe everyone has the ability to learn, grow, and contribute—and we’re here to help make that happen.

NDIS Participants Welcome – Supporting skill development, social connection, and employment pathways tailored to individual needs.

Funding may be available through Increased Social & Community Participation or Capacity Building budgets. Contact us and we'll help you work it out.

THE FILMAKER

FROM SCENE TO SCREEN

The Filmmaker™ is a program where young adults aged 17–35 direct, write, shoot, animate and edit their own films from day one. Students work like a real crew, think like a real director and graduate with a professional portfolio and an identity that lasts.

By the end of the program, participants will have created a portfolio of original content and developed skills in communication, problem-solving, and collaboration. These outcomes support increased participation in community activities and can contribute to future study, volunteering, or employment opportunities.

THE DIGITAL ARTIST

YOUR TRAINING FACILITIES

ACADEMY STUDIOS, ROUSE HILL

An expansive training facility in Rouse Hill, the studio includes dedicated areas for training, shooting and editing still
and video content, along with a podcasting studio to record either pre-recorded or live podcasts.

 FAQs

  • Other than a willingness to learn and a drive to succeed, there are no formal entry requirements. Everyone is encouraged to apply.

  • You will study alongside no more than 12 other students.

  • You will need access to a laptop or tablet with ability to access the internet and download and run software.

  • Yes. NDIS funds may be used to access our services for individuals who are self-managed or plan-managed .

  • Quite a lot. Over the course of the last two years, our staff have delivered over 2,000 hours of training to young adults with disabilities alone.

    These program participants have had a variety of disabilities or neurodivergence.

    We are happy to discuss some of the experiences and the beneficial outcomes that our programs have had on young people, leading to tangible employment outcomes.
